The parties should disclose the previous proceedings in maintenance proceedings

In maintenance proceedings, the parties should disclose the previous proceedings and the order passed therein in subsequent proceedings and ought to have approached the court which had already passed an order in respect of maintenance, if required for any modification or variation. In case any party  has filed another application relating to maintenance without adopting such procedure, the same shall be an abuse of process of law.
